Brattleboro – Jessica Doleszny has been promoted to Credit Analyst in the Commercial Banking Department of Brattleboro Savings & Loan. In her new position, she will be responsible for analyzing and underwriting commercial loan applications and renewals for presentation and approval by loan officers and the Bank’s credit committee. Peter Carvell, Vice President and Senior Commercial Lender of BS&L, said: “Jess was so motivated to learn and continue her career with the Bank, and I could not be happier to have her join our team. “
Jess joined BS&L in May 2018 as an operations specialist and quickly mastered a wide range of responsibilities, from responding to customer inquiries to processing wire transfers and maintaining the Bank’s ATMs. In 2019, she was selected to participate in a team to assess new online banking options and then to the project implementation team that launched the Bank’s upgraded digital banking platform in September. 2020. In preparation for the transition to the Commercial Banking group, she enrolled in an intensive 8-week course on the fundamentals of credit analysis. Jess said: “The leadership at BS&L really encourages and supports staff development, and the sense of teamwork is truly inspiring. “
